Why is it that some people say they have 8mm in length? I have 7/16" ! What size in mm would I be?
And I have another question, I have a labret on right now and when I take it off the inside of my lip is red and the same size as the disk. Is this normal? It seems to have made a dented disk shape. It doesn't hurt. Is the labret too small? When I put it through I usually have to use my thumb to push the disk to push out the end so I can screw the ball on. If I let go of the disk I won't be able to see the end sticking out through the other side. I just changed it today and this is my first time having a labret. I usually wear rings. Is the redness normal? Or is it too small? And what would my new size conversions be?

I currently have my Boa in a 260gal reptarium (the large netting cages that use PVC piping for the frame). He's almost 6ft long, and the current cage is still very large for him, in fact maybe even a bit too large. Although he's old enough not to stress over the large size of his cage.
The problem, is that I recently received a 3 month old Burmese Python. I have worked with snakes for many years, and I know the potential size of the new snake.
So I need a second opinion on what I could do with my Boa, so that I can use my 260gal tank for my Burm when it comes time to do so. I live in a small apartment, so getting another 260gal tank, is out of the question, and the vision cages are ridiculously expensive.
I've found a couple 40-55 gal tanks (about 4ft in length) very cheap on craigslist http://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/for/806709545.html , and wanted to know if anyone knew if that would be too small for a 6ft snake. Basically I wanted to know if anyone knew the conversion of the size of the snake, compared to its enclosure. (for example twice as long as the snake or what not). Thanks for the opinions.
Thank you mandy_28491 for your response. I agree with you on the apartment size, and I may have left out some important details. My sister and I just recently moved to Phoenix, and only have 2 months left on our lease.
I know a 55 gal wouldn't cause health issues for that short period of time with a 5-6 ft boa, I merely wanted to know if there was an exact conversion as far as snake vs. cage to help me choose the size and keep my budget low at the same time.
Once our lease is up, we will be moving into a house and I do plan on building a custom plexi-glass cage for the Burmese (considering it will be 10ft within the year) and placing the Boa back in the 260 gal reptarium. This is only going to be a temporary solution.

My grandparents have Cox (I'm living with them so I can help them while I attend college) and the channels are slowley being 'migrated' to digital a few a year up to now...will they suddenly pull the plug on analog too?
Up until the FiOS switchover I wasn't concerned about the DTV transition because I always heard/read it would only affect OTA (over-the-air) customers but now I'm not so sure...

I'm looking for a good way to convert a multi page PDF to HTML pages. I want the conversion to look exactly like the original PDF's layout/format. Ideally, I would like to use a publishing program such as InDesign to create my PDF. Then convert or export it to HTML as it will be used for print and web. Though, all I can find for InDesign is XHTML exporting which doesn't keep the formating etc... Anybody know of a good PDF to HTML app? Or can InDesign do what I want? Or are there any other publishing programs that could do what I want? Maybe Quark? Or maybe there's another way that I'm not thinking of?

When I format a document in Word (2000) and then save it as an HTML file, some of the formatting goes crazy and doesn't look anything like I set it. I know text wrapping will change. But images do not show up where I place them, at all. Are there any good tutorials out there that will help me with this? Any suggestions from anyone else who has had the same problem? I'm trying (for the first time) to create a CHM Help file from a Word document with tons of screenshots and images in it. I can't pay for conversion software so I convert them to HTML and then found free software to convert from HTML to CHM. But the formatting is so messed up that images aren't aligned with text the right way and the conversion software won't let me alter picture placement at all. Is there better (free) software out there, or another answer to this problem? Thanks everyone for your help!

Simon & Schuster Children's Publishing is now going to agree to publish books before they've been written simply on the guarantee that the ideas are marketable in Hollywood and they will be given a cut of the profits from all forms of media conversion. This type of plan effectively turns the reading public into a test market for Hollywood execs, and trains young readers that there will always be a movie, and that the movie is actually what's important! Does this scare anyone else?

In the wake of the president’s visit to see Pope Benedict XVI at the Vatican, Italian newspapers, citing Vatican sources, said Bush was open to the idea of converting to Catholicism.
The Italian newspaper Il Foglio referred to such talk about Bush’s possible conversion and stated that “anything is possible, especially for someone reborn like Bush.”
Noting that Tony Blair converted to Catholicism after leaving office as Britain’s prime minister last year, the paper also stated that “if anything happens, it will happen after he finishes his period as president, not before.
It is similar to Blair’s case, but with different circumstances.”
President Bush welcomed Pope Benedict XVI warmly when he visited the U.S. in April. And Vatican watchers noted that Bush met privately with the pontiff in the private gardens of the Vatican last Friday — an unprecedented place for the Pope to meet a head of state. Typically, the Vatican gardens are used by the Pope for private reflection.
A Vatican spokesman said the Pope used the unusual locale to reciprocate for the “warmth” Bush showed when the two met in Washington.
Though the Catholic Church has criticized the U.S. war in Iraq, Bush has been an ardent supporter of pro-life issues; he has staunchly opposed stem-cell research; and he opposes gay marriage — all issues important for Rome.

i do a lot of word to web conversion for a job. I used to edit the html documents using microsoft frontpage but his is no longer available on windows vista. I am currently using page breeze but it is nowhere near as good. can anyone recommend something as near to frontpage as possible.

I want to teach piano lessons. I cant do it in my home due to family reasons. I was thinking of buying one of these and going to the peoples home and teaching them in this thing.
What do you think ? I would put a small upright piano in the back of the van and make a waiting area for parents and maybe have a study area in it with flat screens so the students can see the notes on the screen. I was thinking of calling it the Music Bus!
